Will keep you advise of the trip, when I have a chance. Did work a satellite pass last nite while in LV with a new Yaesu FT60 HT I bought at AES that afternoon. Along with my ELK yagi. Receiver could be better, but what can you expect for $190 !!

Hi John,

Very good to hear from you. You are moving right along. Not that I mind at all, but you might consider opening a thread for your trip. That way we can keep an eye on you and know your last posts. Wade like to lay out a map and move little RV's around on it, like he's in the "war room".

I don't know why it is people don't monitor .52 on the road anymore. I think there is a whole new breed of hams out there no days. Many are not familiar with the way we used to do things. Just again, MHO.

Naturally John.... We want photos of your travel when you have time. If we don't have pics, "it didn't happen". You don't think we are taking your word for it, do you ?

As you get closer, please let us know when you might be passing in our area. Might eyeball you.

73, Jim
