Woke up this morning to some welcome rain and supposed to rain for the next couple of days. looks like we may finally get some relief from this drought. Of course, I had planned to mount a new 2 meter antenna today. I built one of the open stub antennas made out of 3/8 aluminum rods and it works great. Only took about an hour to build and tested on my MFJ 269 and the swr was flat across 2m and 70cm. Great project. Thanks to W4AUE (Larry) for posting the plans.
