We just got in to the campground at River Bend this afternoon. Miserable trip in from Amarillo. 30 - 40 mph headwinds or crosswinds all the way. US 285 under construction from Sante Fe to Alamosa. Oh, and did I mention the wind's blowing? It's at least a lot cooler here. Well over 100 yesterday in Amarillo. It may get to 80 here today. Probably be down to around 45 tonight. I'll try real hard not to gloat.
