I like my old Micor when I put it together I changed every thing that was not CAP freqs. and found a CAP pre selector so it was pretty sensitive .18MV not bad for old gear. We have a few Master II's in service they are OK but I like the Micor better. Yeah digital is all or nothing just like cell phones and analog at least you maybe able to put them out of the mud. I'm not one to stand in the way of progress talking about the "good old days" the gear has gotten so much better with DSP and other bells a whistles so as far as I am concerned the old stuff is fun to look at while I control my modern rig with USB connectivity and HRD while watching a nice big monitor playing the audio over quality computer speakers.
