Thanks, I hadn't considered that it might not be appropriate for us to post about this on the forum. We are the communications coordinators for the annual MS 150 Bike Tour, which is a 150 mile bicycle race from Amarillo to Canadian TX in July to raise charitable contributions for the MS Society. We coordinate for communications at each of the rest stops and for hams to ride along with emergency service personnel to keep the bike route safe. It is a great fun and an excellent real world training exercise for our local hams.
This is how Terra and I got wrapped up with the MS Society here in Amarillo. This is first time we have been involved with the MS Walk event, so we are doing our best to raise a little contribution to the cause. If you are around Amarillo in July and would like to help with the bike race, give us a holler! We could use you and your RV along the route! And of course if you would like to contribute to the Walk MS event, follow the link below to
help me raise more funds than Terra:
Please help by making a donation to support my fund raising efforts & get a QSL card!
