Default Temporary HF in TV

So We are going to head out for a 10 day trip on the 21st with about 4 travel days. We will be traveling from my home QTH to Northen NJ, to Philly, to Gettysburg, and back home. I am considering getting my IC-718 in my truck temporary for the trip, and maybe work 10 and 20 while mobile. Any thoughts on this? I already have a 2m and 440 in there, and have a second NMO mount that I can put a whip on. Any thoughts on this or should I just can it and play radio while camped?

You'll most likely get more action on 20 & 40 daytime and evening's.
Have a FT-450 at in the MH and love it , xyl makes a good remote op when in traffic.
Built up a circuit for my David Clark AV headset's and do ptt off the mic. in my lap for long trip's and high noise areas also just when I don't want to disturb passengers or sleeper.
