Toys are therapeutic. You should be over this in no time!
Are you going to need any help with antennas and such?

<< that works.

Welcome to the TS2000 group Mike. I bought mine in November and love it. Not even come close to trying out all the "bells and whistles". You are going to like it.

Good luck with it. Good to see you on the forum.

Jim

Thanks everyone for the support

Not sure when it will ship but i do have the conformation # so I expect next week from ATL.

For the antenna I have this to use portable "on a tripod in the yard" until I get strength to put up the G5RV

The reviews looked pretty good on eham and I can mount it to a flagpole out the shack window.

Temp Antenna came in today.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=160313294012

Should be able to hear something with it and I will mount my Diamond Dual Band for 2m/440

Great News Mike.
Know you will enjoy the TS2000 and getting back on the air. I use the rig here at the RV and it really fun having the ham rig here while I am FT (although still working Mon-Fri). Been getting active on six meters with it also.

Am having trouble though punching through the pileup for K5D, but its still lots of fun

73 and God Bless

Mike do you have any local ham friends? I would just ask for help, and have them put up the G5RV. I am in poor health, and get offers to do any antenna work I need.

Congratulations to the "chemo is working" diagnosis! That is a great answer to all our prayer efforts.

Congrats on the TS2000 too, the high BPSI should provide hours of therapy. (Buttons per square inch...)
