Default The Monster made another purchase

Well Uncle Sam was easy on us this year so I ordered some more toys.


Kenwood TM-D710A for the Truck


Qty Model Unit-Price Extension Shipment-Info
1 ATAS-120A To much GND ATL
1 FT-857D To much UPS GND ATL
1 YSK-857 0.00 0.00 UPS GND ATL


So now I got
tm271, < not sure where this will go V-8000,< garage radio TS - 2000 < Shack and the above listed will go into the Truck. That should do it for radio's

271 may go into the boss car if she will let me.


For the truck/trailer.


hmmmmmmm What else do I need

I use an ATAS120 and an FT897D in the truck. I have a mount for the antenna on the trailer as well.

I sure wish I had thought about the B'ham fest. I would have scheduled our last trip around it. We could have done an eyeball QSO Mike. I need to start thinking about those things.

You mentioned this "monster" buying up this gear Mike. Is this a monster inside of you ? You mean he's caused you to go out of control with these purchases ? Hi Hi... Send that Monster of this way when you're done with him, will you ?

You are going to love that TM-710A. My son has one of those or possibly an earlier version. Good little radidio. He keeps it in his work car and we communicate mostly via 2 meter simplex when he's on shift.

One full day driving will be to much so I got us a hotel to be comfrotable in and spend the night/

I fell pretty good right now but I am very weak and will be in the wheelchair.

Again I am so blessed to have a wife willing to travel and puch me around at something she ha no desire for.
