I am sure it has happened but not directly.

Lightening strikes car

Drivers (either in said car or in nearby cars) do stupid things

People die in the resulting accidents.

There is a video of a car being killed by lightning, alas we do not see if the drivr survived or not but the dash cam on the police car following caught the death of the car... Seems the driver had robbed a church.
