Default It isn't this neat anymore....

Here's a view of the shack when I repainted the room a couple years ago.

Here's a more recent view. My microphone seems to have gone missing.

It's still much neater than mine in the more recent pic. I'm just getting things hooked back up after years away from radio and discovered I can't find my vhf/uhf swr meter. I checked at the nearby radio shack, and they don't even carry them anymore. They have become just about useless to me. So I guess I'll order one online (maybe ebay). I don't have a separate desk for radio equipment. It shares a big corner computer desk that has bills and everything else on it. What a mess............

That gold d104 reminds me of the old days when I had one with a set of browning golden eagles.

yep 23 channels with a d104 and thought I was something back then.

Had to start somewhere. Wish I had that set up today just for the memory.

I've still got my first and only silver D-104 for my HW-101. That's how I figured out I don't like desk microphones. I usually wind up picking them up and holding them off the desk, so I never got another desk mic for a radio.

Just me, i guess.

I always wanted to be a big gun DXer, so K0CKB gave me that there 30-06 to bag the rare ones. After a couple 807's I seem to get drowsy, so haven't nailed any gud dx with it yet.

I actually am trading a couple old rifles for an older HF rig. You may remember, my radios got taken out by lightning a while back. Well, sometime this month, I will be back on HF. Getting a TS-680S in trade for a couple old 22 rifles. I will get a lot more use out of the radio than I ever did out of the rifles. Here's one: http://www.rigpix.com/kenwood/ts680s.htm
