A good friend has passed away Sept 25th. He was Ronald Schoen, AJ4QK (his call Ace, Jack, 4, Queen King). He was 70 years old. He had a severe stroke about 4 years ago and about 6 months ago they found his body inundated with cancer. I was surprised he lived as long as he did after the found the cancer. He is in a better place now and his family can now be at ease. His wife passed away about 5 years ago and he had 6 step children. He also had a son from a first marriage but the rest of the family were unable to locate him to notify him of his fathers passing.

Ronald served his country in the Navy doing a tour in Vietnam as a UDT member (Underwater Demolition Team, the predecessor to Navy Seals). Still had shrapnel in him from combat in Vietnam.

Our prayers are with him and his family, RIP.
