Default Back from 3 weeks of travel

Put another 1700 miles under the belt. Out to Magnolia, TX to visit DD and family. Made 4 stops each way on the trip plus the stop in Magnolia. Stayed and some great campground along the way. First one was Paul Grist State Park near Selma, AL. A small park with only 11 sites. They were crushed stone and level. The park is down in a valley with a small lake. The park road was one lane (in/out) and would be a little difficult with a large MH because of the tight turns. I don't know what you would do if you met someone coming at you because it wasn't wide enough for two vehicles to pass. It was full hookup and they had cable/satellite TV with 19 channels. Very quiet place. The only problems were the road in the park and the fact that it was 18 miles out in the middle of no where. One other thing, the cable hookup is at the very front of the site and will require about 40' of coax.

I read each post and looked at every picture. Made me want to tag along. Or maybe quit my job and go travel some!

This is my idea of a trip report, and thanks for taking the time to share it all with us.

I like the CoE campgrounds best. Not crowded, usually shaded, and best of all they have the right prices
