Default Furniture Movers

When I retired the folding table from my shack (awhile ago, now) I built a super-duty radio table out of plywood and 2x4's. Table turned out rather nice and holds all my stuff without sagging in the middle like the old office grade folding table used to do.

I wanted to be able to get behind the very heavy table for wiring and cable changes and general maintenace issues.

I thought about putting wheeled casters on the new table. They would be expensive, and they but a great deal of pressure in a small space - this would not mix well with the thin carpet glued to the basement floor.

Funiture Movers - those little plastic "frizbee" things for sliding things around!

I assembled the station in the middle of the basement floor, with the furniture movers under the table legs. Then slid the entire station into place. And just left the furniture movers under there.

I've only moved the table twice, but both times it was a no-hassle back saving PUSH and it goes where ever I need it to. And the wiring behind is readly accessable anytime I need to get back there.
