Default Georgia Hail Stone from this weeks storms

We grow 'em big here. Imagine a bunch of these things falling on your brand new trailer! Got this image from a friend...all is well at my house. This is from the storms that killed 1, injured 16 and did several million in damage here.

BTW...the National Weather Service likes to collect images like this. Your local office will have an email address to send them to.

Not too unusual. NWS said if the local air temps had been in the 80's (like in the spring and summer) we would have had F3 - F5 tornados, and more of them.

Warm moist Gulf air meets cold dry air from the North East....boom!

If you stare at it long enough you will see Elvis. And your hand will get really cold.

Huge stone !!! We were glad that storm went north of us. It certainly had the makings of big trouble. We went to bed with the windows open. Later we had close them and turn on the AC. It was very warm, humid and strong winds out of the south. The next morning we almost needed the heat agian.
