K3NOQ John / N3EIH Bonnie
Hello all! We are new to this site. Enjoy seeing a Ham Radio RV site with user Activity! Presently at Canyon Lake Texas in the Hill Country at Lake Pointe RV Resort through late April 2008. Operate 80-6 meters using IC7000 with Little Tarheel antenna on rear of 35' Winnebago Motor Home. John is retired Comm Tech Supv for major state P/S agency on east coast. Inactive ham for many years before Bonnie bought me new IC7000 in 2007. I was getting in her hair so she got me a diversion! Have been catching up on the hobby since and working out the antenna kinks of Mobile operation. Made some progress, but still tinkering. MH has fiberglass roof which hasn't helped.
We are members of SKP's, OFWA, FMCA, ARRL, etc. Our past few years has found us workamping around the country. We will be at Summer Escapade in Gillette WY this summer

Welcome aboard John and Bonnie. Nice to have yet another licensed couple on the forum. My wife says what she likes best about ham radio is she always knows where I am! Ya'll jump in and join the frey!
Sweet Wife, KG4DQQ, never bought me a radio, but last Christmas she got me a 20 ga. shotgun, which was pretty cool since I didn't give her any clues on which one to get.
Now to find time to shoot the thing...

Nice to meet you John and Bonnie, glad you found us. Wow Gillette, WY My brother lived there for several years and I stopped to see him in the winter of 1978/79 and like froze to death. It was -20 degrees below zero for the high and -35 below at night, everyone had plug ins on their cars and trucks but me So I had a hard time getting my truck started and getting it to warm up. I'd bet it is much better in the Summer.
