Default Get Well Cards from Kids

Your beloved admin has been a bit under the weather, under the covers, with chills and fever for the last 10 days or so.

It's a shame that various kinds of mucus has no commercial value, as I am certain I could fully fund ORR.net and pay off my truck with the recent yield I have produced.

Perhaps by the weekend I'll be done with it. But there is something going around here that survivors say hangs on for a month. But the fever and chills are gone, at least.

Monday of this week the 1st Grade teacher was absent at the Christian School where my wife teaches music. The Sub Lady was caught unprepared, but all she needed to do was keep the little ones busy. Sweet Wife suggested they write me get well cards.

I received a homemade folder of homemade cards all on the wide ruled paper that first graders use. I got the usual mix, highly thoughtful sentiments with less than adequate spelling (they know how to use words they can't spell) to artwork, some of which you could actually tell what the artist was thinking, and others open to whatever interpretation you like.

I actually got a kick out of the whole project, looking at each card and returning it to the folder. Except one, from a young man named Jordan, who wrote:

Dear Mrs. Massengill,

I now that you will be a Great wife and take very good car of your Hus Band.
From: Jordan

That one went up on the refrigerator!

There is a substitute teacher in Darian Ga who is generally well prepared just in case you ever need one.. I have her phone number.. I call her "Daughter" and if the school has any full time openings (Elementary) Well she is looking.. Comes with her own football coach too (I call him son-in-law).

Hope you are feeling better as well.

Oh, Darling Daughter teaches music as well.
