Default Google Easter Eggs

And here I thought "easter eggs" were a thing of the past.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technolog...evelopers.html

The best easter egg I ever saw was in early Excel, where a game was embedded. The object was to navigate a maze like walkway (and you can't look "down") without falling off. If you reached the end of the maze you arrived in a gallery where pictures of the Excel developers were displayed.

And that's why Excel was such a pig about hard drive space. If I get time, I'll try some of the google eggs.

Me, I like the Easter eggs made for Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II by Carl Fabergé: Fabergé Eggs

Explorer 4.0 Easter Egg:

How to open it:

To find it, open the IE 4.0 Web browser and choose About "Internet Explorer" from the Help menu. The About dialog box appears. Hold down the Control Key (Ctrl) and click the IE logo in the upper right corner of the dialog. With the Control key down, you can drag it around the dialog box. Drag the IE logo over the globe and then to the right, so that it hits the "Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0" text. If you do it right, the text will fly off the right side of the dialog, revealing a button labeled "Unlock".
Drop the logo you've been dragging around and click the Unlock button. The globe will start shaking. Now, pick up the logo again (Ctrl-click) and drag the it onto the globe. A new dialog box opens and a scrolling list of credits appears.

Turn down Volume as the clicks are annoying:

My son (Lou Jr.) was on the development team. Curious that his name appears at the numerical time stamp of my C-130 squadron (327 Airlift Squadron!)
