Default 10 Meter Contest

Curious if anyone got on the 10 Meter Conest this weekend. I spent a couple of hours on and was surprised at the band openings. Worked up into Michigan and West in to Texas -- It can be done from an RV with 100 watts and a Tarheel on the bumper.

Was only able to do about 11 hours in the contest, so missed most of the good openings. Was able to get Dominican Republic and Honduras but only 9 other multipliers. Already uploaded to ARRL, LOTW and eQSL. Maybe I'll do better next year?

Hey Andy - I worked at it about 10 hours between chores. I think I ended up with 75 contacts and 26 mulitpliers. Worked CW except for one contact. If I turn it in I will delete that one I think. Struggled a bit with logging -- I dont have TR Log set up here and did it by hand. I was really surprised at the openings. This was my first time on the 10 meter contest believe it or not and thought it would be dead here at the bottom of the cycle. You are sure quick with the logging

Glad to hear that you where able to work some stations. The band never opened up for me, flat line all day Saturday and only picked up two stations on Sunday. I probably didn’t have the radio on 10m when the openings happened. Owell next year!
