Default New Antenna 4 RV

I purchased a new HF antenna from ZeroFive Antennas for use when RV'ing and camping. It is a 27 foot vertical dipole with two 10 foot radials. The reason for the picture is to show the robust design of the base, this thing is built like a tank. I have no "on air" experience at this time but if it performs as well as it is built it should be a winner. It is ladder line fed but I ordered a 4:1 current balun so as to be able to feed with coax. First chance to use it will be Field Day in Joshua Tree National Park.

Jay, Interesting antenna. Looks heavy duty. How or where do you plan to mount it to the RV?

I have a mast system made from 4 foot lengths of fiberglass poles that fit together, their military surplus. The mast is attached to the Ladder of my Class A. I will do a video of this going together and up when I get it all ready to go.

I don't have an Apple device.
So, I can't create an iCloud account.
So, I can't visit your signature url to view your shack.

Ditto.
In addition:

I will never have an Apple device if I can possibly avoid it;
I wouldn't consider creating an accursed iCloud account if I had an Apple device; and
So, alas, I can't visit it either. You'll just have to post some pix where their accessibility is general, or we'll just have to miss out.

So in no uncertain terms we all know that Carl doesn't like Apple.

Yeow!

Yes, I think it would be wise to entrust all my data to Google. After all, Google has shown by the behavior so far that they'll never peek at it, never use it to snoop.
