Default GA State Park Review #2

After staying a night at the GA Veterans Memorial State Park we moved a little further south to Reed Bingham State Park about 6 miles west of Adel, GA. I try to keep travel to around 200 miles a day as DW has a bad back and it helps to keep the miles down. In this case it was under 100 miles.

A little smaller state park with 47 RV and tent sites. No lakeshore camp sites. It consists of 2 loops and loop #2 is newer and has full hookup's. Close to 20 of the campsites are pull throughs. A smaller lake, only 375 acres. Another nice state park. Limited cable TV and Wi-Fi close to the office, like right next to it. Mini golf for a fee. Most sites are well shaded. I checked the restrooms, very clean, with showers and laundry. Not quite as much activity in this park as with GA Memorial Park but still very nice. On weekends they have bikes to rent and maybe kayaks (not sure about that).

Camping here is also $28 for seniors. Campsites are compacted crushed stone, roads are asphalt. Several walking trails through the Cypress Swamp area, lots of Spanish Moss hanging in the trees.

I would also stay here longer for the relaxation.
