Default Repeat a successful test session

Well, another great test session. Our regular 4th Monday of the month get together. We had 10 people test, 2 got upgrades to Extra, 3 got upgrades to General, 4 new Techs and one person failed to get a license, she has no internet service so she could not do practice testing. We suggested she go use the library computers in her spare time. She was not disappointed in failing and knows it will take a little more study to make it happen. So, congratulations to those with successful upgrades and to the new hams. As acknowledged by ARRL we are one of the busiest VE groups on the East coast. I really enjoy working with a great bunch of VE's and we take our duties seriously (as we should). We had one wheel chair bound person pass his General then asked if we knew anyone that he could contact to put up a vertical antenna for him since he isn't physically capable of doing it himself. Like the willing workers in the hobby, he now has about 3 people to coming to his house and set up his station so he can get on HF. That's what this hobby is all about.

Well done, sir!

I really need to get more involved in my local club. Years ago they were a really good group and still do a great job at the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, GA.
