As you can see from my signature, I am an active sport caver and very much into cave rescue. I lived in Huntsville, AL 1991 – 2003 (until I moved to the Atlanta area). While there I was active with the North Alabama SkyWarn, Morgan County Rescue and the Huntsville Cave Rescue Unit.

My wife, Berta Kirchman and I are still active members of the Chattanooga/Hamilton County (TN) Rescue Service – Cave, Cliff & High Angle Team. We were “members” of the old Gwinnett SkyWarn. Currently have info submitted to the Gwinnett County (GA) Office of Homeland Security/Emergency Management Agency for CERT training, etc.

Berta’s daily driver is our 2003 Ford E-350 4 wheel-drive Sportsmobile. I uploaded a photo in the Photo Gallery.

And…our rig has been used as a comm. post during a couple of cave rescue events.
