Default Cold snap with wind.

We had a rather brisk weekend here in Georgia last few days. A friend of mine went camping up at Vogel State Park and got 2 inches of snow!! We just got cold and wind.

As for the wind, I park the 5ver in the backyard and being a secure place I toss all the "loose bits" such as wood leveling blocks, my "patio squares" and other stuff under the trailer. They are close at hand and out of the rain.

Also there are two five gallon buckets that go under there. After the big wind, one was out by the garden and the other in the neighbors yard.

Some wind!

That's unusual. My tanks are 40 gallons each, and firmly attached. How often do you have to dump?

I'm in the mountain of south western Maine we did not see even a flake of snow but we sure had the winds blew a pretty steady 30 MPH with gusts well over 40. Parts of north eastern Maine got up to 18" of snow and there were over 60,000 with out power. I'm so glad my camper is in the barn! Yeah Carl it probably would not be a pretty sight with a full 5 gallon bucket.

Winds here in GA were pushing 50MPH, my awing was out, My neighbor's awning was out, Mine is still, his... Is no longer... What can I say.. Canvas beats vinyl for awnings perhaps
.

That said mine is well anchored as well, Plus I have a sun screen which broke the wind blowing under it a bit. .. I did not loose any antennas but one of the support poles needed to be re-positioned a bit, still up but leaning into a bracket.

WInds down here are ... Fierce.

As for the cold.. ALMOST enough to light up my water hose (high 30's was the lowest, takes 35 to light it up 45 to make it dark again) I am frost resistant.
