Default 2 meters getting fun again!

Spent the day installing (or re-installing) two Kenwood 2m/440 rigs into my sons and my brothers pick up trucks. We already had everything we needed except for some small bits so it didn't cost anything.

That, and my favorite repeater is finally in it's new home with antennas near 300 ft. with just a bit of tweaking left to do.

So I think 2 meters is going to be fun again...for me anyway!

What repeater do you hang out on up there Wade ? The past couple of mornings there have been some temperature inversions. I've been listening to some stations in your area. Also from Louisanna and Texas. The bands been wide open.

There are so many 2m repeaters within reach of me that I can almost always find somebody on. I only live about 30 miles from St. Louis, MO.
