Default scenery

Just a little scenery from where I am in Colorado and , yes, that is white stuff on that mountain. Just had a sleet storm and nearly froze my arse off.

In the Georgia heat I can imagine just lying down on my back in that stream.

Thanks for posting! Be sure to stick them up in the photo gallery.

That stream is snow melt. Bet it would be a brief dip in that stream. Course, after a couple of minutes, you would be numb and blue and it would be ok.

John, this morning it was 46 degrees. Currently, 71 and a light breeze. Sure going to hate coming back to Texas. Course, this retirement thing allows me to stay up here just about as long as I like. (or, until the money runs out)

DON:
I had the pleasure of living in "The Springs" for a couple of years back in the early 70's and loved it (except for trying to find work, too much moon-lighting military), even the winter there was great.
A friend and I worked comms for the "Hill Climb" and were allowed to camp over-nite on the Eastern slope just off the road, the "after-shift" ground wave was ""OUTSTANDING"".
