Are you smarter than a teenager?
Yes you are and you can prove it.
Go find a teenager (yours or someone elses) and play this online game.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/namethatthing/index.htm
I scored 600 points above my 50 something age group and 1300 points above teenagers.
Give it a shot. Then go find that smart assed youngun and put them in their place.

OK took the quiz.
Scored 400 above the 40's age group and 630 above the teenagers. I guess I need a little more work to beat Wade.

Here is how I scored;
My score: 2800
Average Scores
Teens: 1930
20-somethings: 2190
30-somethings: 2370
40-somethings: 2560
50-somethings: 2680
60-somethings: 2710
70 and above: 2510
It is definitely easier to take the test in the morning when the brain is well rested. It also appears that the 60 something group does better than any other group. Chalk it up to experence I guess, that and it appears to be the last group before forgetfulness starts to take hold.

It is primarily a visual quiz. When you get to be in your 50's to 60's I guess you've seen it all. When you get to your seventies, you either can't remember what you've seen or don't care what they call it anymore.

I did a little better when I took it again. Can't remember what the score was!

I was housecleaning on ORR.net (actually I was chasing away a hyper aggressive bot from Germany from the 136.243.x.x IP range) and came across this old post.
Took the quiz again and scored 3240 out of 4200.
