Mom in Hospital.
It's been about 42 years since my Mom's last stay in a hospital, but she is in a local hospital tonight, with some issues that would be minor in any patient that was younger than her 89 years.
So, your prayers are appreciated. We hope to have more answers tomorrow and take her home in a day or two.
I may tend to be scarce on the forum for a few days.

OK, I just got back from taking her home. They fixed her up and tossed her right out.
We'll fix her up with a visiting nurse a few days a week and she'll be fine.

Hope your mom is doing well Wade...
It gets kinda scary when your parents need attention like that. My mom is 73 and still going strong, but I still worry about her.

Mom went to her Primary Care Dr. (on her own volition, which is a first!!) as a follow up to her hospital stay. He found a lump someplace in her abdomen. They'll be making pictures with the CT machine Thursday morning.
We do not know what we will find.

Sure hope your Mom does well Wade. Maybe the lump is a simple hernia and nothing more serious. We'll keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

You know Jim they still haven't said what it was. The pictures were made more than a week ago. I think it just might have been her lunch.

Mom lives a few minutes from the ATL airport, where I work. Plus I spend a few hours with her each weekend.
I'm getting time in while I can.
