Personal Wx Station
Hi Folks,
I've been wanting to set up a personal weather station for awhile that will post to the internet for others to see. I finally have been able to do it. The data come right out of my backyard and is up loaded to The Weather Underground. The Station ID on Wx Underground is KFLWEWAH2. You should be able to click on the following two links to pull up the current conditions here. It's interesting to keep an eye on and I can monitor things at home while out on the RV, not only via the Wx Underground but also from an app on my Droid or iPhone.

I wonder if we have other members who have personal Wx Stations? I've been able to put this station on for about $200. The equipment is by Acu-Rite and wireless.

I knew there was a reason I did not like them 68 degrees, my back yard snowing 16, 18" of snow over night just got done plowing 20 MPH winds out of the NW. That's not a nice thing to do to some one!

N3LYT, you ought to have a personal weather station. After all, your weather seems so much more personal than Jim's.

I actually have one that I could put on line maybe I should do that so if any one else doesn't like their weather they could look at mine! Actually we got off fairly well Portland Maine got 32" we only got 24" (50 miles inland). Talked to a guy in Ct on 40 meters this afternoon he had 36" with the state plow truck stuck in front of his house all night till they came with a huge loader to pull him out.

Very cool Jim. Now we can spy on you....
We have a weather rock here not too far from the house at a local hardware store.
"if rock is wet it is raining."
"if rock is moving it is windy."
"If rock is gone it is a hurricane."
Course there are many more captions....

N3YLT makes me really appreciate these 68 to mid 70's temps this winter. I wish no part of that snow. We've not had a real Florida winter here in about 3 years. The bugs continue to get worse, but I can deal with the bugs.
That sounds like a highly intelligent rock out in Louisianna Galen.

NE Blizzard
We had 32" with 4-5' drifts on Friday/Saturday here in FN31rr. Just finished up blowing the driveway after the town FINALLY plowed our street. Chance of rain and 45F tomorrow, so the snow on the roof is going to be heavy. Another day in New England.............
