Default Make a no nole, no nail stocking hanger

Some Christmases ago I was tasked with hanging about 20 or so stockings from our mantle. Not wanting to drive 20 nails into our woodwork I needed an alternate solution.

Here is what I came up with. You'll probably need a hammer and vise to make the sharp 90 deg bend in the handle, but I just used my hands to bend the more rounded bend between the handle and ladle part of the spoon.

They don't damage the mantle, hold a lot of weight, and are infinitely reusable.

Title should say "No hole, no nail..."

vBulletin will not let you edit titles after you post. Oh well. For what it's worth there is no "nole" involved either.

Being a University of Florida Gator alumnus, I kind of liked the "no nole" part.
