Looking at the original photo in this thread.. There is some nice hardware there... I'm an old fan of HeathKit stuff after all.

Wanna have some fun? Google "inpection"
Spell it exactly as I have it.
home "inpection"
"inpection" equipment
"inpection" software
"inpection" procedures
And so on.

Aww, you are too kind.
I built the HW101 about 1980, had it finished in 50 happy hours. Didn't have a license yet but having it sit there waiting, listening to all the traffic going on, was plenty of motivation.
It still works. Has to warm up for 3 hours to minimize the drifting, but it still works. I'm not planning on parting with it.
And that big D-104 lollipop taught me to hate desk mics. It's the only, and last, desk mic I have ever owned. Lovely sound, but I just am not comfortable speaking into it, either bringing my face to it or it to my face.
Just me, I guess. I really prefer my Heil headset mic.
And here is the set up in the camper.

Behold the last throes of enlightenment. The dark age cometh. In these graceless years of transition, knowledge perishes. Alas.
