Hello from Andy - N1ORK
It's great to find a site dedicated to what I enjoy the most: Hamming and operating portable from our 32' Zinger travel trailer in Freedom New Hampshire. My home QTH is Manchester, CT. I hope to learn a lot from the posts as well as meet new friends here. Our camper is parked at a campground called the Bluffs. It is a gated campground for people 50+ years old and is part of but seperate from the Danforth Bay campground resort. My shack (in the rear bedroom of the trailer) consists of an Yeasu FT-857D, LDG Z100 tuner, G5RVjr dipole and a 2m/70cm J-pole. This year I plan to put up a 30' telescoping pole with a 4el 2m and a 3el 6m yagi. The elevation is only about 680' but I've managed to make alot of HF QSO's from there. Hopefully, the 30' pole will help my VHF activities to improve.
Thanks for the site and 73.
Andy - N1ORK
