Default Outer Banks pleasant surprise

Just arrived at Sands of Time CG in Avon, NC just north of Cape Hatteras on the outer banks of NC.

We were getting unhooked and all set up when I said hello to the neighbor across the street.
She commented on my license plate, and said she and her husband were hams also.
So for the next hour the 4 of us talked about Rv'ing. antennas, grandkids, etc.

Just a pleasant evening spent with new acquaintances.

That's what I like about camping, meeting new people and sharing experiences.

PS - the cg seems pretty nice also, unlimited half price rate with Passport America discount.
