RCA-Marconi station

Accidentally found the RCA-Marconi maritime wireless station on cape cod today.

great exhibits of vintage (old tube type) commercial radio equipment plus lots of historical information and some videos.

well worth the $7.50 entry fee.

The antenna farm they had (now removed) covered literally 100 acres or more.

They also have a ham station -CW only, no microphones in the shack!.

I have a maritime clock like that around here somewhere. A guy had a pile of them at a hamfest for like $5 each. Though it was cool so I grabbed one.

Too bad the antenna farm is gone. For the ham operator, that would have been a pleasant walk in the sunshine.

Any pics of the old gear? (Now you knew that was coming)
