Since day one (literally and really) my avatar on ORR.net has been the little Heathkit HW-101. You'll see one there in the picture. I built it years ago in the late 1970's and (the last time I tried it) it still works.
You'll also see some other vintage stuff. That Icom HT and a D-104 mic. The D-104 is the only desk mic I have ever owned. I found I just didn't like them, preferring a hand held mic instead. The HW-101 kit was sold without a mic. In fact, the speaker and power supply were separate kits, too.

Look closely, there are actually 3 HT's lined up in a row.
So yes, you've seen them before. Bet you thought you'd never see them again.
