Hi Donnie - Welcome to ORR. Glad to have you aboard. My name is Jim, I'm located near Panama City, Florida in the Florida panhandle. I've been in amateur radio since 1969. Like Andy, I'm retired. I was an investigator for the State of Florida and retired in July of 2005.
At home I run Kenwood TS2000 on hf. I have a Ameritron AL-80B amplifier I will be putting in the line shortly. Also operate a Kenwood TM742a. We have a Jayco Eagle 29RLTS and operate a Kenwood TS450sat in it with a TM251 for 2 meter FM.
Nice to have you aboard as I previously said. There are some other members of the forum out in the west also. Congratulations on getting your ham ticket. It's a great hobby and public service. Looking forward to reading your posts.
73,
Jim

Welcome to the site. I am located just east of you, and have a few rigs. My latest is a TM-D710 which I have yet to install. I still have my first radio, an ICOM 02-AT.

Thanks for the welcome.
I also failed to mention in my previous post that I retired two years ago after 42 years working for the City of Los Angeles.
