Hello every one. I`m here because my Wife and I have been planing for a long time to become fulltime RV`ers. In fact we are going to Dallas to a RV show this coming weekend. Not to buy yet, just to get educated.

Welcome aboard Mike! I'm not a full timer, but there are a few here who are. Any questions? Just post them here and I'm sure someone will pop out of the woodwork to give you some info. Good luck on your trip. You say you're not buying, but you never know!

Mike, you say GREEN, but you are acting like RED, go to the show with the mind set to buy , there may not be a better time.
You didn't say, are you a Ham Radio kind of guy? If not you could be.

Famous last words, We're not going to buy, just look..." I think I remember saying them more than once.
Welcome to the forum!

I'm the admin, and this forum, a mix of ham radio and RVing, was my original idea. Mike and Greg lend their expertise and manpower to make it happen and without them there would be no Open Roads Radio forum. But the original thought of a forum dedicated to a mix of ham radio and RVing was mine.
However, at the time we started the forum, I did not own, nor had ever owned, an RV of any kind.
If the admin can be green, so can you.
Welcome aboard!
And as far as I know, we are still the only place on the internet where RVing and Ham Radio are served up on the same plate!

Welcome aboard Mike....We love to go camping at Tyler State Park. We usually meet my BIL and SIL there.
Go look at the RV show, but don't forget the checkbook!!! Last time we went to an RV show the girls were reluctant at first, but quickly found the one they liked....
