Gimme Money!
OK, so I am a volunteer in many ways. I love helping others!
I am walking in the Multiple Sclerosis Walk Event this year. I am trying to raise $250 ...but would rather raise about $300, cause there is a rumor that the prizes are better ($100 gets me a t-shirt lol)
So I am asking and bugging everyone I know to donate. I don't care if it's $1 or $10 or $100. Every little bit helps, and this is a really good cause. These people go through hell, and die early deaths in pain and constant frustration.
So if you'd like to donate, just follow the link that you will find in my signature.
Thanks for reading!!

Help me raise more contributions than Terra!
Thanks, I hadn't considered that it might not be appropriate for us to post about this on the forum. We are the communications coordinators for the annual MS 150 Bike Tour, which is a 150 mile bicycle race from Amarillo to Canadian TX in July to raise charitable contributions for the MS Society. We coordinate for communications at each of the rest stops and for hams to ride along with emergency service personnel to keep the bike route safe. It is a great fun and an excellent real world training exercise for our local hams.
This is how Terra and I got wrapped up with the MS Society here in Amarillo. This is first time we have been involved with the MS Walk event, so we are doing our best to raise a little contribution to the cause. If you are around Amarillo in July and would like to help with the bike race, give us a holler! We could use you and your RV along the route! And of course if you would like to contribute to the Walk MS event, follow the link below to help me raise more funds than Terra:
Please help by making a donation to support my fund raising efforts & get a QSL card!

You are no doubt the cuter of the two. In no way were you inconsiderate. I just wanted to set the record straight about the official position of ORR.net in case there were any questions on the part of the membership. By the way, there have been no complaints or inquires about your post.
One of our members is a big supporter of Lupus charities. We even posted a banner at the bottom of the page for that.
As long as the charity is one that is universally recognized as being legit, as the MS walk would be, you are welcome to discuss it, along with your ham radio relations to it, on ORR.net.
Again, good luck and I hope you both exceed your goals.

My Husband should be posting a pic or two of the QSL-style thank-you cards that he created...
Get yours now!
