Just another newcomer
Just found this site and registered...can't believe I haven't come across it before. Been a ham since 1957 but off and on the air many times. RV'ng for about 7 years, currently in a 30' 5th wheel. Have 2m/440 in truck but have not done any hamming from rv. Have an old TS-140 and MFJ tuner so may build a couple of wire antennas to work hf this summer from the Sierra's. Hope to see some of you either on the air or eyeball on the road.

Welcome aboard Dick! Glad you found us. Nice bunch of folks here that are eager to share thier knowledge. Post some pictures when you can, we're always interested to see another set up.

Hi Dick, . I too hope to meet some of the group out on the road, but it just doesn't seem to happen. Have met several hams out and about, but none from this group?

Dick you are going to love ORR.net. Not too many of us here, but the target audience is kinda small. I don't know of any other site that caters to the RVing Ham or the Hamming RVer!

Nice to have you here. That RV has a 12 VDC sytem that is easy to tap and add radios. The fun part can be the antennas.
