Default Weird problem cleared...D-I-Y connectivity fix

Had a problem with several computers at my house yesterday evening not being able to reach ORR.net or Forest River Forums, a sister site on the same server run by the same folks who brought you ORR.net.

These were the only two sites I could not reach. Yesterday I just let it go, figured if the server was down Mike and crew would know pretty quick. This morning however, I still could not reach either site.

I reset (power cleared) my WAP and DSL modem. Now I hit both sites just fine. I know that seems odd, but this happens more than most folks would think. So if you can't hit ORR.net, but you can hit other sites, don't assume it's the ORR.net end until you have reset all your local equipment.

Yup.

Sometimes interrupting the flow of electrons breifly to certain devices helps greatly.

Yeah, you get too many electrons and not enough holes, that's what happens. Fortunately never had that problem with my DSL or now with the UVerse gateway.

I have one of those T-shirts !!! Been there done that. My connectivity did not totally cease. It became very slow and sluggish. After rebooting the DSL modem it worked like a champ.
