Another New Year
Well, it's the first work day of 2012. So I turned on the radio and listened a bit and started my day. Gonna be a busy day. Got to have a couple cups of coffee, may shave, sometime today, I've got to check the connections on my AV640, or not. Danm, this retired thing is hard work. Happy New Year Ya'll

Happy New Year to you Doc and all the members here on ORR. Retirement is tough! I agree.
About to get our first real cold weather of the season tonight and tomorrow night. They were talking down to about 18, I think they changed that to 24. Doesn't matter, that still cold here in Dixie.
Again, Happy New Year to ALL.

Jim, That's that global warming thing. We need to to get Al Gore to re-check his facts.

Sitting here in Big River RV Park (across from Parker, AZ) and thinking that this retirement should have started more than 10 years ago - wait - it did! It is 65 here and going to be in the upper 70's today. Looking forward to going to ham fest in Quartzsite end of January. I did not bring any radio this trip but will have a friend here 15th of Jan. with his. He is W7CWK (from Bountiful, UT and I am KC0JEA (from Cedaredge, CO). We will be putting up a dipole between two trees and trying out his new rig.

My "see food" allergy is acting up - temps headed down and snow in forecast - time to fire up the rig and head to Savannah for a few days.
Happy New Year ... all !

Well it's finally getting here. 27 the forecast low for tonight here near Panama City, FL, 18 tomorrow night. Forty-five mph winds tonight, it's already started. Have the RV winterized, I hope.

Only got down to 32 here this morning but the wind chill is in mid to low 20's at times. Colder tonight.
