Neat list, but I'm always amused at such applications of the word cosmic.

Sort of like calling people astronauts (which means star-sailors) when none of them have been farther than Earth's moon, and most haven't been higher than the rather low Earth orbit followed by the Space Station.

Would you call someone a World Traveler because he (once!) left his home in the Bronx to venture as far as Brooklyn?

Everything's cosmic, 'cuz it's in the cosmos, whatever exactly that is. Each of these events, besides being in the cosmos, is in the near vicinity of Earth. Two of'em involve a star, though -- the Sun, that is.

Just playing with words -- I think this is an interesting list and I'm glad to see it, and to have it here where I can find it again.
