Default Charlie Farquharson, SK

A truly remarkable "radio voice" has fallen silent.

This saddened me this evening. For those of us who remember this segment of the weekly HEE-HAW tv show, Charlie was one of my favorite characters. I was always disappointed he was never allowed more time.

Bless you Don, your humor was clean, fun, eloquent and simple.

Charlie was one of a kind. I have his picture on my desktop as a backround. I have been acumulating/installing egg cartons for sound deadening my hamshack. Its hard to find the old style paper type cartons, most stores have gone to styrofoam. Its a shame there are not more Charlie KORN you tube videos.// John K3NOQ
