Algebra Puzzle
If pronounced in plain English, this algebraic equation makes a poem.
A limerick, actually.
Have at it ya'll!

Wade, if you claim to be a Southerner, you've just gotta learn where the apostrophe goes in y'all.
As for the riddle -- darn -- beats me.

Humph. It's arithmetic, not algebra.
I originally got the "a dozen, a gross and a score" but the rest evaded me until Wade showed how to read the rest of the denominator. The equation is incorrect anyway,

Nope, the math is right.
The square root of 4 is 2, so 3 x 2 is 6.
So 12 + 144 + 20 + 6 = 182
182 / 7 = 26 and then 5 x 11 = 55
26 + 55 = 81 = 9 x 9
-----------
So the 2 short lines of the limerick read... come on guys...

That's what I get for doing it in my head.
I had to do something in my head -- there's little else going on in there nowadays.

I shall taunt you once again...
"A dozen, a gross and a score,
Plus three times the square root of four"
...
...
and I'll tell you the rest tomorrow just before bed. Which for me is pretty early

A dozen, a gross, and a score
Plus three times the square root of four
Divided by seven
Plus five times eleven
Is nine squared and not a bit more.
And then there is...
The meter the math and the rhyme,
So perfect it's almost a crime,
Your poetic equation,
Proves my declaration,
With numbers you're better than I'm.
