My Radio Update

Well the eqipment arrived last week and I have set up as I feel up to it.

I have my 2m antenna up so far.

Lesson learned when you get back into a hobby order everthing you need. Kinda hard to hook up an antenna with no coax!! duhhhh

I did run across a GREAT deal on a MFJ 1798 on ebay. New in box never opened shipped to my door and the cost was almost 50% of HRO. Sounded to good to be true and I took the chance and it came today and it new and was never opened. So now when my mast arrives tomorrow I hope to be on HF with the G5rv and the MFJ this weekend.

I am ordering everything due to the fact lack of energy for any length of time dont go well with looking for local deals.

BPSI is unreal and I went to night school to get another degree to read the owner manual but so far I do like this radio.

We're gonna have a rally and hamfest in Mike's backyard so he'll have no reason not to be there!
