Legendary CBS newsman Walter Cronkite, KB2GSD, who held the title of
''Most Trusted Man in America,'' passed away Friday, July 17 after a
long illness. He was 92.

I did not know Walter was a ham, No wonder he was so good at his job. I won't say "He will be missed" as.. Well, he has been missed, for several years now, ever since he retired.

I have to say, I had much more confidence in him then many of these anchors we have today. Too much biased reporting going on. I really don't care which side they take. Just give me the facts. "The facts 'mam, just the facts", as Jack Webb (Joe Friday) used to say.
