Hi Bill:
Welcome to the forum...It's usually pretty busy around here. Don't know why its been so quite lately (maybe everyone is camping).
Got a really good group of people here. Enjoy!

Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome.
I have not been very active on the radio recently. I seem to go in spurts, either very active or not at all.
I have an Icom 2200H 2M FM rig in the car but seldom use it unless there's severe weather in the area. At one time I was quite active on HF RTTY, but the wind blew my antenna down a few years ago and I haven't gotten around to putting it back up.
I just bought a small travel trailer, the name plate is so faded it can't be read, but I measure the length to be 16 ft at the frame. A Salem by Cobra. It was sort of an impulse buy; small trailers are hard to find. I was looking for ideas for TV antennas when I found this group.
Gotta go for now,

Welcome
Welcome to the net. I am sure you will find the info that you need. Enjoy that new trailer. You can be in your "active" spurt and make it a moblile ham shack.
